Days Inn by Wyndham Lancaster PA Dutch Country

For the price this Days Inn goes out of it's way to provide a comfortable stay in a location close to shopping, tourist attractions, and the Sight and Sound Theater. Our room appears to have been recently renovated. Appliances and lighting were clean and working properly. The walk in shower was modern and exceptionally clean. Yes, the continental breakfast buffet was limited and the mini-muffins a bit stale. To me it wouldn't be worth paying another $5 or $10 a night just have fresh fruit, and a Belgian waffle maker (those things are gross anyway). The staff was friendly and accommodating, and we got a good night's sleep.

Stayed at this location in May because we traveled with someone on a restricted budget & options were limited at the last minute. Loved that it was close to the Sight & Sound Theater. The price wasn’t expensive but the place is definitely in need of renovations. Once you enter, it doesn’t look or feel very clean. Our room was ok but the bathroom tub was permanently stained. There had been a water leak in the bathroom & it was still noticeable.

Positive: clean and convenient Negative: small pillows and when we asked at the desk for another were told they didn’t have any. The shower needs repair as it didn’t have enough water to shower with. the night clerk was not friendly but the morning girl was very nice

This place is not worth staying at all. Don’t waste your money. Person at reception was friendly. Assigned us a room, when we went to the room as usual I would check the room for cleanliness. Observed body hair on the bed linen. We had to change the room. Room is below average. There is no coat closet in the room, no coffee maker in the room. The complimentary breakfast, let’s not talk about it. It’s a way of getting people to come stay here, there is barely anything there. Room is close to the side entry, people coming in and out slamming the door. People upstairs made too much noise, we had to call the receptionist and request if they can ask them to be mindful as it was close to midnight. Didn’t feel safe either. We came to spend weekend to relax, but not happy,they wouldn’t refund the

The rooms have been renovated but the bathroom fan didn’t work and the bathroom door wouldn’t close. There were stains on the furniture, bed sheets, and towels. The lobby looked run down with a bathroom that was out of order. The price was right except that they charged almost double for my last night’s stay. The rooms weren’t cleaned for the entirety of our stay and had to beg daily for bathroom towels. They told us they could only give us one less than we asked for, repeatedly. The staff was the rudest that I’ve ever encountered anywhere. But hey, the location is good. Do yourself a favor and stay elsewhere.
