Days Inn by Wyndham Kent - Akron

Needed quick accommodation for a business trip. And Days Inn was perfect for that. The beds are clean, they offer big bottles of shampoo and body wash in the bathrooms. And you can cuddle up in bed while watching the Big Bang Theory reruns. Breakfast is free, but they offer eggo waffles and eggs in tupperware. It's not bad breakfast as everything is clean, but there are no waffle pans. Which is something I look forward to in traveling. This is my fault for assuming, of course. The selection is limited but you can leave feeling full. Fresh fruit is also available along with oatmeal. I recommend cutting up the banana and apples and adding it to the oatmeal or waffles for a heartier breakfast. The Inn is also located in a bit of a food desert. So if you're like me and traveling by bus or Uber

A Dump!||It's cheap and you get what you pay for -- maybe. It's old and run down. For starters the staff was not at all pleasant, like they were doing you a favor by letting you stay there. Again the room was run down. The was a blank space on the bathroom wall where something had been torn off. The bathroom door was shredded on the bottom from age. The calking around the tub was dirty and coming loose. The knob was missing from the shower and the shower/tub bypass was stuck in the shower positing and everything leaked like crazy. The lid on the coffee maker was broken off, and the coffee maker didn't work anyway. The small light in the outlet near the sink (night light) didn't work and I had to keep reset the circuit breaker to get the mirror to work. Breakfast was minimum hosed in a litt

Positive: Nothing Negative: Bathroom was not clean, sheets on one of the beds was so thin you could see the blanket through it, dirty, dusty etc

I only gave this review a 2 star because the employee was very helpful and understanding. My husband and I needed a hotel to stay at leading up to my grandmothers funeral. This hotel was perfect because it was affordable and right off of the interstate. Room was “clean” but then we found a rip in the bedsheets that I was willing to overlook until my husband also noticed the room door lock was broken and a living cockroach on the door. Where there’s one, there’s going to be more so we instantly checked out. The employee was understanding and willing to get us another room but for obvious reasons, we declined. I wasn’t going to make this review but I felt like others should know in case someone wanted to stay there. This was over Valentine’s Day weekend.

Hotel room Clean, front desk very friendly & helpful. Bed Very comfortable, Pillows were perfect,💕 always soft, fluffy, woke up feeling very rested. Heater worked perfect too 🙂 Very easy to get to. Love that the entrance to room is by where I park, made it very easy to unpack car & repack. Car is right next to hotel room door. Very peaceful & relaxing
