Days Inn by Wyndham Elko

The room was very clean and comfortable. I appreciated the little coffee maker instead of the kreug style ones that only make one cup at a time. The amenities in the room were very nice and clean. We were traveling back and the mini-fridge was a great size to hold our items.

As several other reviews have mentioned, it smells bad, like somebody just used the toilet and forgot to flush, room otherwise seemed clean. TV did not work, clock radio sort of worked but not really, bathroom was uncomfortably small, I haven't tried the other nearby hotels in this price range but they are likely better. Restaurant easily accessible nearby is a plus, food there was decent.

This hotel is an older hotel, but the rooms have been updated. Both rooms that I stayed in were very clean. The bathrooms were very clean. I stayed there on my way to and from Reno. The first night that I stayed, I put my Tupperware beverage container, which was full of iced tea, in the fridge. The next morning I when I left, I accidentally left my Tupperware beverage container in the fridge. I forgot to check the fridge. I didn't remember until I was about 20 miles from Battle Mountain, Nevada. When I got to Battle Mountain, I called the hotel. The hotel is run by a husband and wife. I talked to the wife and told her that I had forgotten my Tupperware container. I described it, told her what room I had stayed in, and asked her if they would hold it for me because I was staying there again

I can’t say enough good things about this lovely hotel, and I think it’s because of Jay, who checked us in. He was so nice, humble and friendly! I can see he’s a very hard worker and a very patient soul. It’s clean, comfortable, no odours whatsoever! Continental breakfast too, was very helpful for our journey from Canada, passing through Nevada. Another hotel up the road refused us a room because we rang the bell twice. The other hotels were closed, lol. It was only a little after 11pm. Thankfully, we found Jay at the Days Inn on Oct 7/8th. We were starting to get really worried we wouldn’t find a place just to rest until the morning…..
