Days Inn by Wyndham Canon City

I stayed at the Days Inn in Canon City as a long term guest while waiting for my new place. The people friendly, and the rooms clean, and the breakfast was good too. Every time I had to extend or had an issue they were always right there willing to work it out. The vending machines stayed stocked with a great variety goodies and the front desk always had suggestions on activities to keep busy. I loved having the train so close! Plus the pet policy allowing dogs was so helpful, mine is skiddish of people but it didn't take long for the staff to have her looking for them and happy. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to others!

Stay somewhere else! I have previously had good luck with Days Inns but not this time. We booked with Expedia while on the road and couldn't be refunded after arriving. The location is great, right across the street from the train station and water park, and the lady at the desk was understanding and helpful, BUT - The first room they put us in had a King and a pull out couch for the 3 of us. The AC was off in the middle of summer so it was stifling in the room. We pulled out the couch to make up the bed and found poop stains on the mattress, and bugs on the couch. NO! She put us in another room next door with 2 queens and fresh sheets. This one we stripped the beds and found them clean, with new sheets and mattresses so we decided to stay. Positive: The gentleman up front was very helpful Negative: There was stains on my bed sheet, no blanket until I found it wrapped up and shoved in the corner of the closet the next day. No tissues in the bathroom. It was extremely dirty. Boy go t my own sheet to out in the bed.

I honestly have no idea how such an HUmazing hotel could ever only have a 2.6... The indoor pool is clean and hot, hot tub feels amazing and my rooms mattress is RIDICULOUSLY PLUSH! I WAS DEFINITELY SKEPTICAL AT SEEING THE 2.6 BUT THIS IS DEFINITELY A REVIEW GONE WRONG! I am one heck of a critic but this hotel deserves at least a 4.8. I highly recommend this hotel. Please boo me if you feel I'm wrong....👍🤩 The front door guy Auni was exceptionally accommodating, I felt truly invited with his exceptional charm. Thank you for my stellar stay!

If I could put Zero stars in would! This place is extremely miss leading online. The rooms in the advertisement online must have been the room that they spent the most time and money on just to trick you into booking at this hotel. apon arrival it looked new and remodeled from a distance but when you get closer its like lipstick on a pig. the place is falling apart still but with a new paint job. The front desk staff couldn't be bothered to even look up from a game on his phone for over a minute when we arrived... and that was just the beginning of the problems... we're immediately told the hot tub was down which was one of the main amenities we were looking for, we're told they didnt have enough towels so if we needed extras we would have to track down staff to replace towels. we were t
