Days Inn by Wyndham Abilene

The room was clean and the bed comfortable. It had good amenities- coffee maker and alarm clock. But the carpet was old and torn and the furniture dated. The hot breakfast was AWFUL. I ate at 9:00 and it had obviously been there since 7:00. There was very little left and it was all dried up.

Rented room ahead of time. Got into the room and was truly shocked. Not a square inch of carpet wasn’t stained ripped and sticky. Curtain was half ripped, mattress is clearly like a decade old bowed out in the middle. Shower stall had visible black mildew in the corners. No hot water. The room was incredibly musty/humid and had a terrible smell and the laundry machines were broken. I never write reviews and I usually just suck it up when things aren’t as they should be but immediately left and got a place down the road for the same place that was 100% more sanitary. Idk how this place is allowed to do business.

The room was dirty. Broken glass on the floor, amassed filth anywhere not regularly used.... Bed protector had a very unhealthy stain at the top. I was iffy about leaving this review, but the room was $130. Used to be little minor motels like this were affordable and clean. Unfortunately they don't get cleaned right (not sure if it's housekeeping sucking, or a management issue) and the dirtbags that use them have gotten even worse as the years go by. Lucky I looked the place over or my feet would have been cut up pretty good

Positive: "" Negative: None of the lamp lights were working only the main light. Extention cords through out the room. Dirty bathroom floors bathroom needs deep cleaning.

Horrible! Room smelled stale like covered up cigarettes. A/C was cold but sounded like a bang when it came on. Toilet was loose on the floor and rocked. Toilet stopped up and wouldn't flush. Sounded like a party close by with loud cars, slamming doors till 2 or 3 AM. Hotel is old, dirty, and in need of renovations. The desk clerk is behind a plexiglass wall, so evidently even the staff doesn't feel safe there.||It is hard for us to fathom that Wyndham Hotels attaches their name to these type hotels. Where is Wyndham's quality control???
