Dandelion Lodge

The Dandelion Lodge is set in the most amazing of southern settings - on the banks of the Dog River, among those beautiful moss covered oaks that scream the “Deep South”. What is really unique is its history as a speakeasy from the twenties. Lovingly restored, it’s a great place to escape the hustle and bustle of the city. I love sitting by the river just relaxing. Located not far from the city of Mobile, it offers the ability to make a quick trip there. I stayed at Mardi Gras time - so easy to get to the city to enjoy the festivities! Room for lots of people too!

This is such a special, beautiful place. The character and history of the lodge shine through, and the sunsets on the river can’t be beat. Easy to relax here, having coffee on the porch, napping by the huge fireplace hearth, playing croquet under the Spanish moss, listening to the owls, enjoying Dog River by boat. DanDeLion Lodge is one of our favorite places in the world.
