If you like history. This place has it it is like walking into a nice antique store. And Jane is like a historian. I told her she should write a book . House has been in her family since civil war. Quaint town a lot of antique shops also nice boardwalk with light house. Enjoyed balcony stayed 2 nights Monday to Wednesday. The only thing Jane needs to do is update her rates it is posted as 95-115 dollars. It was actually 145 per night for during the week. This is not for everyone rooms are small

Owner Jane Currier has filled her Civil War era home with family heirlooms, furnishings and memorabilia detailing the colorful history of some of Havre de Grace's most famous citizens, including several generations of Curriers. She and her home are a local treasure, located only a block or so from some of the town's most visited attractions. We were able to stay only one night, but thoroughly enjoyed a great and full breakfast after a relaxing night's sleep in the Crawford Room, that featured its own private balcony. She and the staff made us feel totally at home and could not have been more gracious and accommodating, and her recommendations for enjoyable local activities and eating establishments were spot on. There could be no better way to learn about this charming, historic town at

Stayed for two nights at Easter 2018. If half-points were here, I’d give Currier House a four-and-a-half; it is not a “five,” but it is better than a “four.”||||Short version: ||(1) The place was spotless, absolutely clean through-out; lots and lots of photos and old things on display as you might see in a museum, but nothing – absolutely NOTHING – dusty or musty. The place was spotlessly clean. ||(2) Breakfasts were good, homemade, nutritiously balanced, and plentiful. In addition, available in the dining area at any time of the day were juice, fruit, coffee/tea, and cartons of yogurt. ||(3) Location is excellent. It’s a one-block walk from the water and the light house. If you have a room with a balcony at the front of the house, you can watch the moon over the river. Very quiet area.||

I would give this inn a 3.5 if available. Not 3 stars fair not 4 stars very good. 3.5 good. Lots to look at antiques galore. Jane is a great host and quite the historian . I told her she needs to write a book.house has been in her family since civil war. Not for everyone. Rooms are small . Breakfast very good. Website prices are wrong online . It says 95- 135 dollars. It was 145 dollars per night for a Monday and Tuesday.

What a horrible horrible nasty woman that owns and runs this place. I have a wedding booked and paid for six months from now in Havre De Grace and I'm concerned about accommodations for my out of town guest. When I inquired about the rooms and rates, she practically scolded me for not just looking at her website for my answers. The website has not been updated since 2011. When I requested that I would like to purchase all four of her rooms, in a very nasty voice she informed me that she will not take that request until January 1st of next year. Confused by this and now concerned there will be a mad dash for rooms come January, I very politely asked her why she does not allow bookings until the 1st. In a very nasty voice she informed me that this is her business and she will run it how she
