Best Budget Inn Havre De Grace

The room was awful and the linen was stained. The receptionist moved us to another room which was just the same. We got a refund and went elsewhere. I've given it 1 star as I can't give zero.

Let me tell you why this place didn't rate a terrible with me, it didn't appear to have any bed bugs, and the floors seemed like they had been vacuumed recently. Other than that our experience at this place was pretty rough. We randomly came across this place as we were driving to Florida from Canada. It was a little ways from the highway, so by the time we got there we were exhausted enough, and we didn't feel like driving all the way back to the highway to search out another hotel.||||We were greeted with a bit of a sour look, but the room was available, and we were tired. We got into the room and it was obvious that any updates to this hotel involved a coat of paint, and not much else. In fact every feature of this room looked like it was covered with several coats of paint, instead

The bed was very 7ncomfortable. There were cigarette burn wholes in the bed spread and the towels and wash cloths had terrible stains. The owner brought us clean ones and they looked likes they were washed in coffee. The A.C. was going on and off all night long. Then the water was not draining very quickly. We had to take a shower in less than 5 minutes so the water did not over flow. We won't stay at this place again.

Well you get what you pay for. I paid $60. Everything here is old but i have to say it was very clean, just musty smelling. I always carry a room deodorizer spray and disinfectant wipes and wipe it all down( thats my clean test) all my wipes were clean. The hot shower was good. Good pressure, good drain, there was only soap but no shampoo. ( i carry my own anyway) The towels were clean and sheets as well. Outside was well lit and very quiet. Even though the website said "no vacancy" we checked and there was plenty of rooms (something wrong there) i tried to tell the lady in office but she didn't understand what i was saying.

This is a budget motel. The rooms are clean and free of pests. The owner really seems to care about the place and goes out of his way to make the customer experience good.
