Cross Timbers RV Park

Ever look out your RV door to see elk and zebra in the paddock? We did! This is a neat campground with the most lovely owners running it. They are doing lots of upgrades, including RV shelters and concrete pads. It has a nice laundry that's reasonably priced, and a shower block. The sites are all full hookup. On two sides are high fenced paddocks containing elk, zebra, deer, antelope and kangaroos. It's pet friendly. There is a bit of road noise, but it settles down in the evening. It has a lovely community feel here. When all the improvements are completed it's going to be even better then it is now.

Great RV Park. Located just off the highway but very quiet.Extremely friendly staff. Level sites and they are doing lots of upgrades. Showers were very clean with lots of hot water. Fantastic to be able to view deer and zebras in the surrounding fields and trees. Excellent wifi. Everything was great.

This was our first long term stay in our RV and it was a great experience! We stayed for a month to give our RV a full test as we had just purchased it. The sites are roomy with most all concrete pads and some with canopy’s above! The Owner was extremely helpful with everything. He offered to add any feature to our site we required. This place abuts an exotic deer preserve owned by the same family! We were even offered a tour of the park, which we graciously accepted and it was great! My wife and our two girls loved the deer, water buffalo, zebras, gazelles and the (I do not remember the name of these animals) but we are told they were native to China but are extinct from there now but they are roughly the size of a moose and were very cool! Most definitely the neatest place I’ve stayed at so far! There is a high fence with exotics that can be seen from anywhere in the park. They come up to the fence and you can feed them. Very quiet place. The owners are very great with communication and up keep of the place. Very genuine, honest and friendly people! Definitely recommend anyone stopping by and checking out crosstimber rv! Seconds from lake fork.

We had a shady level campsite for our trailer in a very spacious park like campground. The showers were phenomenal!! You can tell the owners take great pride in this campground. It looked they are in the process of continuing to improve all the campsites. Having shade trees is so necessary for hot days. I suggest you plant more for the future
