Crooked River Day Use Area

Beautiful canyon views, easy river access for boats and jet skis. Great spot for a full day with picnic areas and parking.

Beautiful view! Courteous boaters & Bathrooms were cleaner than expected. Plenty of picnic tables along the shore. Several Sheriffs making rounds & hitting hard for children w/o vests on the docks.

They have added some fresh sod to the day use area. They have very nice and wide boat ramp area to launch your boat. The downside is the lack of parking on busy weekends. The geese chew up the grass and leave poop all around the day use area. There are outhouse vault toilets as well as some bathrooms in the center of the park grass area. They offer a large swim area with a floating walkway for kids to jump from. The downside again is the amount of goose poop one the floating walkway. The docks on this trip were less useable, as they had a broken kayak launch and a small section of dock blocking areas for boaters. They have clearly been working to make it better, but on this trip they had some definite opportunities.

Nice place. A little dirty and run down a touch. But a place to take the kids when it is hot. $5 for a day use parking pass. Good to use at other spots as well.

Very beautiful and looks like a great place to fish as well, by seeing all the boats being launched. It is $5 to use the parking.
