Crescent RV Park

We stopped here on our way back to Northern CA. Cute little town and the quaint campground served all our needs. Pull thru sights, well maintained and easy access off highway. We did not use any of the amenities so cant comment on that. Met the owner and he is doing alot of work to keep this campground appealing to travelers. For now you do check in across the street at the lodge but its not a big deal at all. If we are passing through we will stop again, as its worth the stop and the price.

The only good things I can say is the Wi-Fi worked and the power stayed on. Right next to the highway and the trucks sound like they're going to come through your front door all night. Everything is dirty, bathrooms were cleaned (badly) once in 2 weeks. Showers are coin operated only, door code on the bathrooms barely worked half of the time. No on site staff, and the front desk of the hotel down the street is only manned after 2pm. Feral cats all over, dogs barking. I would have been better off dry camping in the woods.

We were so disappointed in the campground that we didn't stay even though we had already paid in full for two days. We felt uneasy regarding safety. We pulled up to the building where the check-in would usually be, but it was the laundry room. Run down, trash, and excessive clutter looked as if it was pouring from the seams of the trailers. We called the phone number and the man that answered told us to come in. As we explained we didnt know where, that we don't see a building he might be at, he described the building; but we went back and forth expressing our confusion before he finally said he wasn't even speaking about a building on the property. It’s a good place to go if you need to get off the road and need a place to put your RV for fairly short amount of time the location is great right there in town and they have an on-site laundromat

These photos aren’t accurate at all. The lady who answers the phone is rude the guy at the motel u check in doesn’t know a lot and doesn’t have customer service skills. The sites are poorly marked. The grass is 3 ft tall in the campsites. There’s mosquitos everywhere and for the tents it’s less then 30 feet from the highway. The laundry room doesn’t look like the photos and the bathrooms don’t either. You have to pay 2 bucks for a shower. All the rvs there u can clearly tell they live there for what looks like years. I called them to let them know how I feel and to let them know about the suspicious behavior from the other rvs and she said “we got all of the tweakers out” they clearly didn’t if I could tell after staying there for 7 hours.
