Crescent Hotel and Spa

I love an old hotel. And this one is well taken care of and loved. All the staff were friendly and polite. I even met the owner on our way up the stairs and she was also lovely. There is so much to do at the hotel from ghost tours, heated pools, sitting on the porch playing games to the axe throwing and bb gun range. I just love all the work that goes into keeping this beautiful historic hotel lively and fun. We stayed in Theodora room so it made the stay that much more special. I can't recommend this place enough. It truely is a destination spot and oh yeah it close to downtown Eureka.

We went for my daughter’s 16th birthday, and it couldn’t have been a better trip! The staff amazing, the hotel beautiful and breathtaking, and the ghost definitely didn’t disappoint. One even decided to play with the covers over my feet all night and my daughter got to see the covers lift up off my feet and set back down! I would highly recommend the stay and cannot say thank you enough to all the staff that made my daughter feel special!

Never stayed here but, the breakfasts are fantastic. The only thing I see it's a little high in the price for a smorgyboard type breakfast. For example -( 125 Dollars that's including tip) for 3 people. But, the place is fantastic and they have a man playing a piano or organ while you are eating so you have a nice music to your breakfast or brunch that is really nice and soothing. I also want to say the service was great and the people there were nice and kind too. Please go there. You will enjoy yourself. Just bring lots of money. Thank you.

My wife and I love the Crescent Hotel. We took the ghost tour with guide Clementine. She had a great sense of humor and a lot of knowledge of the hotels history. We had Kyle as a bartender at the fourth floor bar. He kept us entertained and made us laugh a lot. Then for breakfast the Crystal Room has the best French toast you have ever eaten. This is my wife's favorite! Robert was our server and he was very attentive. We have been to the hotel about 10 times. This was the first time we saw no smiles at the front desk. We took a friend for his first time and my wife told him go to the door they open it and greet you. He walked up and no one opened the door and we got no smiles. This was the only issue we found as in the past they have been overly friendly.

Positive: Its ambience, history, and beauty. The food was delicious. Negative: Hot water was not good nor was the water pressure and the elevator wasn’t working
