We booked an rv site at the lake row I and the view was spectacular, power and water were working ok, no full hookup at beach side but there is a dump site, however this was missing a hose to rinse but this was no real issue. We were welcomed very nicely by security. Checkout is a bit early at 10am.
We really enjoyed our stay at Crazy Horse Campground. The place was very nice, and everyone we met was friendly and welcoming. The bathrooms were kept very clean, which we really appreciated. The location was also great — close to everything and all the events going on in town. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we truly loved staying there. The only downsides were that it was very hard to get ahold of someone when trying to make a reservation, and the stickers they place on the vehicle and trailer were extremely difficult to remove. Other than that, everything was great, and we would definitely stay here again.
Our stay ended in a very unfortunate and unnecessary situation. At check-in, the electrical pedestal at our assigned site was not functioning. We reported it immediately and were instructed by staff to temporarily use the power from the empty neighboring site until repairs were made. The following day, another staff member confirmed our pedestal was still not working and again directed us to continue using the adjacent outlet. On February 12, while we were packing up in preparation to depart on February 13 as scheduled, the campground manager approached our site, shut off our power, and accused us of stealing electricity from the neighboring site. We immediately explained that we were following the instructions given to us by two separate staff members. The manager explained she did not ca
This place is a joke. Lady front desk rude. Gal at front entrance rude. Ask me a million questions to get a spot to charge for the night only to deny me bc of my dogs. They are mix breed dogs look like Shepards and not allowed. Firstly, any campground with restrictions on dogs sucks. Dogs are safer than humans. 👎🏽
Our site was very large, right on the lake with a beautiful view. We had power and water, but no sewer (but we knew that and that's only for the lakeview spots). The roads around the park were VERY poorly maintained, though: big potholes, unclear directions, and no road names. The staff was incredibly friendly.
