Cozy Corner Cottages

We had 7 of us stay here for a weekend while ice fishing on upper Lake Onalaska and the Mississippi River. What a wonderful place. Affordability, comfort, location...it has it all. Owners are very friendly and on top of any issues that might arise. Plenty of space for larger groups. Definitely will be back.

My first review ever. The cottages are very clean and had everything we needed. However, it was not quite what we were looking for. It is out in the midlle of nowhere and not much to do. The pool was closed which knew ahead of time. It was uncovered and my kids were upset of the bullfrogs trapped trying to get out and the dead rabbit and other bullfrogs that died in there. I feel this could be avoided. They did give us passes to the local pool since their pool is closed. If you are on a fishing trip this is probably the perfect place for you but not much for a family.

Our group came out to Cozy in February for some local ice fishing. The cabins were just down the road from some of the best fishing in the area and the host was super helpful in setting us up for success. The rental was clean and had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

My hunting buddy and I stayed for five nights beginning November 8th. The location is great, as we were able to launch our boat at Fred Funk just a minute down the road and tie up my john boat in their lagoon. This made for easy access to duck hunting upstream. The duck hunting was legendary; we had an unbelievable flight of gadwall and pintail with the standard mix of mallard, greenwing and geese. We even caught a walleye along the channel markers on the outside of the barrier island while watching the waterfowl pile into the refuge. The cabins are standard hunting shacks with great accommodations and plenty of beds. The parking was great and boats/trailers will have no issues. Great bird/fish cleaning shack. Cindy was great and I highly recommend for the seasoned outdoorsman.

Great place to stay….. Comfortable beds, air conditioner, cook top in the cabin, full size fridge, private grill and fire pit. The grounds are maintained, the pool is clean and cool! Close to several boat launches and bait shops, grocery stores… whatever you need. It was our 1st time, but not our last. Great place to come back to after fishing all day. The folks next to us have been coming every year for the past 35 years…… A lot of Pride of Ownership here!
