We weren't sure what to expect from this forest service CG but were very pleasantly surprised. The roads and pads are paved and in very good condition. The forest is spectacular, with towering hemlocks and ferns in abundance (not so great for satellite reception). We had strong cell service from both ATT and Verizon. We could not hear any motor noise from the lake, but the sites closer to that side might be able to. There are no hook ups, but very clean and spacious bathrooms and showers, lots of water spigots and sink waste water receptacles. A small town is about 7 miles away with a tiny store and one gas station with diesel and non-ethanol gas. Our site was big enough for our 34-foot 5th wheel and truck, and most of the sites were similar. Lots of space and privacy. The only catch is th
Hello everybody. This campground is the best you can camp at. The camp hosts Regina and Randy is fabulous, the best ones I’ve ever met camping all over the states. The campground is always clean and well taken care of. They always busy making it more cleaner and better.
Great place to launch a boat or kayak and fish. Lake has many species of fish including good size kokanee and stocked rainbows. Pay to park boat launch that is 8$ for the day. I didn't explore the campground but it seemed like a good place to camp. The bathroom at the boat launch was fairly clean and in good condition. This lake is very large and very deep (150'+). It gets pretty busy with recreational boaters so if you go to fish, start early. Will return.
It's well kept and the spots are large. There are lots of paths to get down to the water and that water is beautiful. I do think that the "beach" which is dirt so you know. Is very dangerous there are tons of bare sharp sticks poking out of the ground it's hard to navigate through and kind of ridiculous. I have little people and I kept imagining them falling on them they would go right through you. The ought to move some of the rocks too. You can see in the pics. Beautiful view and swimming water. Scary land! 🤣
This campground is beautiful and the parking spots are roomy, but no electricity and paying $1.25 for a four minute shower gets old. Especially when the campground across the lake has free showers.
