Courtyard by Marriott Wall at Monmouth Shores Corporate Park

From the time I called asking questions about this location to checking in, the customer service was amazing. Angellica was so nice and patient with me where she answered all my questions and was very courteous. Checking in was so smooth and quick. Barbara checked us in and she was such a nice and happy person and then I find out she's the manager. She had no problem giving us time and attention and checking us in instead of handing us over to someone else. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable one in any place. The only reason I couldn't give you a 5 star was because there is nothing worst than taking a cold shower in the morning before heading to a wrestling tournament. I am extremely disappointed with this hotel. My daughter booked a block for a wedding and it just took TOO much effort. Communication is terrible! Additionally the block rate was more than you get through booking out of the block. The lighting in the room is awful. I could not see anything in the closet. There was no hot water. When I complained, they said just let it run a bit. It ran for 35 minutes. While my room was clean when I arrived, there was no housekeeping the entire stay so my garbage was overflowing and we had no towels. The sign says "Hang it up to reuse" and I didn't but it didn't matter because no one came. The wedding brought in about 50 rooms and I just thought they could have been a bit more helpful. Stayed here for a weekend wedding in September 2025 and I would not recommend this hotel to anyone. Phil, who works the front desk is extremely short and does not exude hospitality, nor does anyone at the front desk. We had a standard room and the mattress had to be at least 10 years old, offered little to no support and was very uncomfortable. Other furniture in the room was ripped and frayed. $300+ a night for this hotel is robbery. Overall this property is depressed and in dire need of a major overhall and I'd stay away until so.

The room looked very clean when I arrived. The phone room key and ease of check in and out was perfect the staff was great. I was sorry to see the restaurant was closed for breakfast. The staff was great they directed us to a local breakfast spot. Sitting on the couch in the AM with the shades open the sun reflected on the room furnishings ( headboard, wardrobe ect.) the sides front and all non top surfaces were filthy. It ruined my stay. I have been using Marriott exclusively for years. Not so sure that will continue. Ken

We stayed here for the weekend of my son's hockey playoffs. The rink was very close by, which was nice, but i was a little disappointed with the pool and apparently hot tub being closed down. Other reviews showed that they had both but the pool room was locked up. With the large amount of people staying here, the staff did a pretty good job at keeping things cleaned up. Lots of hockey teams mean lots of pizza boxes. Lol but I was impressed that they were able to stay on top of it.
