38 Motel

This place is the place me and my friends will tell our children about the night we nearly got kidnapped, neighbors room (or just random fisherman?) asked us to “come down to the dock with them for 15 minutes” late at night and then never returned until we checked out. Otherwise room wasn’t infested (but badly beaten up, plumbing in poor condition, deadbolt broken), owner was nice, but wifi made fire-stick provided unusable.

I've use the motel a few times for short stays, the room I was in last had new bedding and brand new carpeting. Owner is very nice and accommodating. I think there is an upstairs so I don't know how that is there. I've only been down. It was clean though.

Owner very nice but, it doesn't make up for how disgusting the rooms are. I would highly recommended NOT to stay.....cheap or not!!! I can't stress how dirty inside and out. No ice machine, no garbage cans, burn whole in the curtains and comforter, no curtain rods, barely hanging on window, windows don't lock, shower pressure turns on and off, bed is wrapped in plastic....the list can continue.....should be shutdown or torn down and start all over!!

Outside as ugly as the inside, broken lamps, rusty heater covers in bathroom. Found a spider and roaches in bathroom, mold in bathtub, worn out bedcover. This is all I actually noticed. I'm not sure what passes for a "room" in other parts of the world. This is not one. Unbelievable. I feel like I should have been paid to stay here, but I didn't, it's so disgusting. Maybe nice owners, but this is 2021. Appalling. A

If you are looking for a super cheap place to stay that isn't nice at all this is the place for you. Bed uncomfortable. Burn holes in the comforter. Broken curtain rods. Everything is just very old and worn. The shower water pressure turns on an off on its own. The owner of the place was extremely pleasant however. If you're just looking for a place to crash for cheap and don't care about anything else then this place would probably be ok for you.
