Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Montgomeryville

Highly recommended stay. I had a great experience at Courtyard Marriott. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained, and everything felt easy and well organized from the moment I arrived. A special thank you to Maria at the front desk. she was incredibly kind, professional, and genuinely helpful during the check-in process. She made the arrival smooth and welcoming, which really set the tone for the stay. Overall, a solid experience with attentive staff and a comfortable environment. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend it to others.

Friendly staff and a convenient location, but the hotel is only worthwhile if you get a very low rate. My bed was comfortable, but I was glad to leave after one night.||The hotel is in noticeable decline. The furniture feels cheap and flimsy, the room layout is awkward, and the common areas are overdue for maintenance, e.g. debris on hallway floors from degrading ceiling tiles. Sound insulation is poor; I could hear both my next-door and upstairs neighbors, on top of a loud HVAC unit. It is bordering on neglect, and the lack of investment shows.

Positive: The staff was polite. The location was appropriate. Negative: The mattress of the pullout was pee stained. This hotel is right next to a restaurant and those patrons utilized much of the hotel's prime parking spots. It is ridiculous to pay for parking and not be able to park in front of the hotel.

I stay in hotels at least 100 nights a year, and I have to say that this hotel has such a friendly and caring staff. No matter what time of day you contact them, they are responsive and they are very customer centric. |I’ve stayed at this hotel at least 10 nights the last few months, and it makes my business trips go so much smoother. I don’t have to be concerned about my accommodations. It is definitely still a Courtyard - things are not always perfect or brand new and it is a very reasonable rate. the gym is very nice for Courtyard and the staff all around makes the difference. Thank you to the staff for your kindness.

Super nice manager checked me in couldn’t ask for better there. At first look the place seems pretty nice until you get to looking closer. I probably would have given the place a 3.5-4 overall but As mentioned with other reviews on here the worst thing was THE SMELL. When I got off the elevator there was a musty/moldy smell, that of course is in the hotel room too and it’s even blowing out of the ac unit. 2 queen beds luckily because one of them had stains that look like blood smudges on the sheets so they obviously didn’t change or clean the sheets in that bed. I like Marriot and this place has potential but they’ve got to get it together. For +$200 a night I expect better.
