Courtyard by Marriott Page at Lake Powell

This motel shows pictures of their outdoor area and the view in most of their advertising which is nice, but the inside of this facility is very tired and needs repair and maintenance. When we arrived it took a few minutes for someone to show up at the desk to check us in. After checking in, we went to our room which was somewhat disappointing. We immediately noticed the light on one side of the bed did not work. Shortly thereafter we noted when turning on the light for the area housing the toilet and tub, the light was barely bright enough to see either of these fixtures. We learned if the light in the toilet and shower area burned continuously, it provided enough light to use the toilet and shower. In Page, this is one of the best hotels to stay at. It’s close to the lake and the boarder of Utah. Also, the staff is very accommodating. I’ve only had one issue with one employee, but I’m not gonna let that mess it up for the rest of them. I don’t wanna mention her on here. My favorite staff member there, is Jesica. She’s seemingly always happy and assists all guests with a smile.

Great 3-night stay. Hotel was quiet, clean, and well staffed. Restaurant was observing off-season hours with limited menu and hours but what it offered was very good. Shout out to Jessica who seemed to be always on the front desk and always smiling and helpful.

Positive: "" Negative: The room they placed us in, number 113, on the first floor, was a handicap accessible room and the bathroom shower tile was atrocious. I just wanted one on the first floor. Was too tired to ask for a different room.

I never write reviews but I have some time for this experience. What a sorry excuse of a hotel to have the Marriott name associated with it. Not only is it incredibly dated but the service is something out of a seedy motel. Dominic seems like a well mannered human but once you ask him a question outside of his canned responses, he turns into a shaking, angry, sad excuse for a customer service representative. Apparently on my check in day the credit card system was down. Big Dom tells me he's going to process the credit card in the back and takes my ID with him. Fine I don't care, it's been a long day, do what you gotta do to put a hold on my card. Little did I know, "processing in the back" means I'm going to make a copy of your documents and just not tell you about it. When I heard th
