Courtyard by Marriott Ogden

I am a lifetime Titanium level Marriott guy. I have stayed in a lot of Courtyards around the country.||The service I received in Ogden was the best I've ever had. Reception and check in at 10:30 at night was warm informative and extremely helpful for my particular situation that night. The service in the bar/restaurant was excellent. ||I had drinks in the evening and breakfast in the morning. High quality all the way around. But I expect that at Courtyard. ||More of a convention/meeting facility than I usually see. ||Fitness room was good. Room was clean, spacious and functional. ||Free and abundant parking is a huge bonus. ||I was in Ogden for the first time, for family business, and stayed here because of my Marriott status. ||Future trips to Ogden, for any reason I would come back to th

The room was clean. You should be aware, the hotel is currently experiencing HVAC issues. Your room will either be too hot or too cold I was advised at check in and by notice in the room. The solution if too hot was to shut off unit and open the window or we can bring you a fan. If too cold, we will bring additional blankets. It was 20 degrees so I was not tolerating the window open. I messaged the front desk twice and offered to go down to pick a fan up and I was assured one would be delivered to the room. It was never delivered. In the meantime, the iron was not working but leaking when I had put water in for steam. I didn’t bother to request a new one, I thought I would ask when the fan was delivered. We were in town for my husbands birthday and the staff went above and beyond to make our stay amazing! We only stayed 1 night so im not sure how I would rate houseeking service in that aspect. However the room looked amazing when we arrived. We would have loved exploring the area more if we had the time. So we will definitely be back some time to do that. Overall everything we experianced at the hotel was amazing. The only suggestion I have, is for the front desk to work on check in experiance. The associate who checked me in seemed a little inexperienced. May have been new and still learning. But did a good job overall during our short interaction. Keep up the excellent work!

This is our favorite place to stay in Ogden when we visit our son at Weber State. Very clean and always very friendly service. The HVAC was being upgraded so it was shut off but it was winter so A/C wasn't necessary. The jeat worked fine and the showers are the best!

Overall this was a very good stay. The bed was comfortable even though the pillows were not. We slept well which is unusual for us. All the staff we interacted with was very friendly.
