Courtyard by Marriott Lincroft Red Bank

Really confused on the rating of this hotel. I've stayed in dozens of courtyards and this is up there with the most run down. Started by being shamed at the front desk for not booking direct through Marriott. Then being told that there is a $10 charge for parking....there is nothing else around, pure cash grab, didn't even ask for a plate number, so just say no and avoid the charge. Hallways are dingy, dim, and in disrepair (see photos). Rooms match the hallways in that regard. Walls are paper thin, next door neighbor had a phone call at a reasonable volume and I could hear every word he said. Bed is ok, pillows are bad. Shower pressure is awful. Gym is a reasonable size but poor equipment, nice water/towel station though. Then for breakfast I ask for egg and cheese on a bagel (their menu

Was just here the past weekend for a wedding event and I cant say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. Just want to give a special shout out to your front desk person DERYL!!! Deryl, thank you for going above and beyond and going out of your way to help us with the sink issue in our room. with 2 wedding events going on this weekend and the hotel and lobby packed you still managed to help us and make our stay a great one!!! THANK YOU DERYL!!!! I also want to give a shout out to the bartender who took care of everyone at the lobby bar wedding after party on 12/28. you did great and all by yourself !!!! did not get your name but thank you!! overall great stay and staff!

Great location close to Red Bank. Easy parking, close to lots of food and shopping and excellent Uber Eats delivery! Comfy quiet room and very clean. Well managed and polite staff. Cannot always get a reservation so book well ahead!

Everything was perfect about my stay at the Courtyard Marriott. My room was extremely clean The front desk very friendly and professional. Plumbing in my room flawless. I did not try the breakfast as I am an intermittent faster and do not eat until lunch but I could only imagine that it would have been just as wonderful as the rest of my experience at this location. And I can’t leave out mentioning my king size bed which was like sleeping on a cloud. Two thumbs up for this location.

All of the employees were friendly, helpful and accommodating! The rooms however are dated. The bed was great, but the furniture was old and scratched up. The air condition/heating system was difficult to regulate. It would change automatically. It was either really cold or really hot. We were there for 2 nights and we had to deal with the entire time ( including in the middle of the night. This hotel is the only one in the area for all of our activities. They really need to upgrade it! There was also no safe in the room which was alarming!
