Courtyard by Marriott Gettysburg

Positive: Excellent location off the freeway, straight shot to downtown Gettysburg. Diner right out the front door, for breakfast or quick bite. This is a nice, clean Marriott property in a safe location with easy access in and out of the complex. Negative: ""

Nice hotel that is close driving distance to Gettysburg. Great staff but watch your credit card. They entered two charges for incidentals.

I stay here 1-3 times per year when I visit family and only once in 7 years they didn't have availability(bike week). Rooms are decent sized-We have most recently stayed as a family of 5 with 2 beds a pull out sofa and a pack and play. We all fit just fine. Beds not bad. The bathrooms tend to have slow sinks, and I do wish there were either more hooks or an under the sink shelf for extra towels. If you're traveling with only 2 people It's no problem, the sink counter has space. Good windows in all rooms. Hotel is rarely busy. Appreciate the coffee and bistro downstairs. And we enjoy walking over to the diner across from hotel's main entrance. Bell carts and automatic doors to parking lot from both front and back entrance. Large parking lot. Absolutely GORGEOUS hotel! Lots of enhanced and updated information, amenities, and even food/market experience and product selections. Incorrect Information (THIS SITE ONLY) CONS 1) NO, absolutely NO microwave in ANY hotel room! There is ONLY ONE microwave in the common area on lobby/first floor. 2) MANY LISTED features and amenities along with operating hours are incorrectly reported on their website, and many other booking websites and apps. 3) The hours listed for the bistro/cafe across all digital platforms and even some in print… it is NOT open daily and has very specific days and open hours it serves along with different products outside of those displayed digitally and in print. 4) NO vending machines, guests are REQUIRED to purchase from market inside lobby or purchase outsid

After first arriving at the Courtyard Marriot in Gettysburg I was tired and hungry. I’m on a GF diet due to celiacs and was frustrated as I could not find a GF restaurant! Amy the manager of Marriott was very, very helpful and walked us over to the Wyndham and we had a wonderful meal and I had a GF meal that was delicious! The extra effort that Amy made was above and beyond her title!! I also would like to give a shout out to Scarlett who was also so helpful and understanding to my needs-she is such a kind and devoted employee who made our stay so much better. Again thank you Amy and Scarlett for making our trip to Gettysburg a wonderful time. You both are wonderful and Marriott is lucky to have you! Will definitely come back here!! Again, thank you!!
