Terrible place to stay. Paying over $130/night for old hard spring beds was not worth it after a long drive. Booked here for the indoor pool, so my little kids can enjoy. First night was full of people letting in others (seemed to be locals) and holding the doors with objects for them to go in and out. Food and alcohol everywhere near and inside the pool. Next night it was closed so it wasn’t available to use. Staff was not accommodating at all. When asked, I was put on hold for 5 mins and never received a call back. Customer service was awful. Do not stay here.
We had our wedding at the Courtyard Marriott on November 22. We loved the laid-back southwestern feel of the venue. It was our first wedding and really did not know what to do or how to plan such a large event. ||Then we met Melissa McDaniel, Courtyard by Marriott Journal Center Catering Sales Manager. She helped us so very much and made the whole experience fun, worry-free, and exciting. ||We only had two months to plan. Melissa and her team took care of everything for us; from the event timeline to the actual execution of the fountain-side courtyard ceremony with a ballroom reception and buffet.||Melissa held our hands all through the planning phase. She hosted an awesome tasting dinner prepared by Chef Sam. Melissa made sure we met Rachel, our Buffet Captain, to ensure she knew ou
Positive: It was clean and in a quiet neighborhood. Front desk was helpful. Negative: The air conditioning was broke in the first room and had to change rooms. The air conditioning in the second room was functional but was not great, it did not keep the room cool enough. Beds were not very comfortable.
Everything went well during my stay for one night. As a member I got coffee in the morning. Interesting food setup. You have to pay for breakfast which consists of the same style food that is to be found at the typical free hotel buffet. If you just plan on that will meet expectations.
My 17 month old quickly found this “welcome gift” in the nightstand when we arrived and we were unpacking. Rooms were dated and hotel is noisy, even on the side away from the highway. Staff was great, friendly, and helpful just wish rooms were cleaner and nicer. No carpet in our room was a little odd.. Good location close to restaurants, gas, and anything you need. We will stay at the Fairfield or SpringHill Suites next time we stop through on our drive to AZ, those hotels are nicer if you’re looking at Marriott options.
