Courtyard by Marriott Albuquerque Airport

DO NOT STAY HERE. I am a titanium member I’ve never had to ask the front desk for late checkout it’s always added to my stay. The young lady at the front called at 1:45 pm saying I had to tell the front desk which I understand even if I’m not used to it, so I asked well could you add a 4:00 pm check out? And she told me no because it’s fully booked which is a bold face lie the parking lot was completely empty yesterday and it’s completely empty today I feel so disrespected I’ve stayed over 200 nights at Marriott across the entire USA and I’ve never been treated like this. The hotel is NOT fully booked it feels I am the only person staying here no cars and the front entrance is blocked off from construction. Please book somehwere else. Friends were staying in a separate room and forgot to close their door fully... then came back and saw a homeless man rummaging through belongings and taking their things. Absolutely unacceptable. When asking the front desk person, they knew exactly who we were talking about and stated that the man gets in through a door that doesnt lock. If you want to feel unsafe, stay here! This is the worst experience i have ever had at a hotel. Wish it could get 0 stars.

I stayed over Thanksgiving weekend in one of the executive suites while in town for business. The staff was friendly and welcoming throughout the stay, and the room was clean and comfortable, but that's about it ... There were several surprises that took away from the experience. The hotel was under full construction, including a closed pool and renovation noise during the day. Unfortunately, none of this was mentioned when booking — not on the website, not in the confirmation email, and not in the app. That lack of transparency was a big letdown, especially for a Marriott property. The suite itself was decent but not exactly what you'd expect for the name or price. The shower itself was nice, with a curved glass door and great water pressure, but the bathroom was tiny — barely 3’x3’. Yo

I stay here often. The rooms are very spacious and clean. The only thing I do not like is the old carpet smell but I still stay here. The bistro is nice and the large lobby with a fireplace to relax in is very comfortable. This hotel is about 3 minute drive from the airport and they do have a shuttle.

Hotel is renovating. My room was very nice. Good size, nice furnishings, nice shower and very comfortable; EXCEPT for the toilet. This is my only complaint. I included a picture. If you weigh more than 120, the toilet is not going to be comfortable for you. I’m a larger lady and the toilet paper roll was right at the side of my leg. On the left size of the toilet there was at least 4 feet wide of unused space before getting to the shower. I moved the toilet paper to have a little more comfort. I did not take this away from my overall score. But why isn’t there someone at Marriott quality controlling the location and placement of the important things like the toilet? Guests come in all shapes and sizes. It’s time someone remembered that.
