Courtyard by Marriott Albany Troy/Waterfront

This our favorite place to stay while visiting our son at RPI. The location is perfect. Its right down the road from the college and walking distance to great restaurants and bars. The view of the Hudson from your room is beautiful. The entire place is spotless from the lobby, to the bar, to the rooms. This service is always professional and courteous. On this particular visit they took hospitality to the next level. It had snowed a little overnight and when I woke up in the morning, there was someone from the hotel brushing the snow off all of the cars in the parking lot. Because of the impending major storm coming we made the decision to leave a day early and Chris at the fron desk went above and beyond to help us get our points refunded for the stay and even let us check out a li

What a great experience. We stayed here due to a wedding close by and had a wonderful time. The rooms were great and clean and the staff was amazing and top tier. The stand outs of staff were Adriana Wynn and Chris Avery. They went out of the way to help and just being a friendly face when we returned from the celebration. They made this stay special. I can’t thank them enough.

Very good stay! The hotel is well equipped. The staff is lovely and helpful.The location near the river with a large car park allows to walk to Troy city centre in 5 minutes.

The room was good and staff were pleasant. After a long day I headed to the bistro where I found the prices to be ridiculously high. However Nina was exceptional and made the experience worth every penny. She honored my requests as a picky eater without making me feel like an inconvenience. She had a warm, welcoming attitude the entire time. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and will definitely return in the near future.

Great logging experience, with staff and management that really care about the guest experience. Sometimes things go sideways: as a seasoned traveler, I know it happens from time to time. But it’s how the establishment recovers that means so much, and their management team really understands how important it is to look at the long time horizon and other reasonable best to make things right. Not to mention that the place is beautiful and the guest room was roomier than expected. We shall return and make this our base when we visit the Troy area! Thank you, folks!
