Best Western Plus Franklin Square Inn Troy/Albany

Positive: Cleanliness Negative: Tub less shower caused puddle in bathroom outside of shower. This could lead to accidental fall especially for elderly.

We had an upgrade to a king suite which was absolutely wonderful. It was clean and beautifully appointed. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The bathroom was really nice too. The breakfast selections were appealing and included slow cooker oatmeal with almond milk (my choice) and scrambled eggs, sausage, and potatoes (husband’s choice). I highly recommend this hotel.

Best Western was there in our time of need. In an emergency we needed a last minute place to stay. They were able to give us streamlined personal booking for an affordable price and check in on short notice directly from the hotel where other hotel chains sent us to a call service. It was super clean and comfortable.

We went here to stay for the Turkey Trot 5k in Troy. It was super convenient as the run happens right in front of it! We were able to wake up and immediately go outside and run. It couldn’t be easier. Also the service was great. The receptionist was great and always offered a smile! Decorations in the lobby were also beautiful. One constructive criticism i have is that you have to go downstairs and used a shared microwave. I would just suggest putting one in each of the rooms as that seems to be a standard at other places. Prices were fair as well!

I stayed here for one night for a work trip and found the staff to be incredibly friendly, kind, and helpful. I also loved that there was a coffee machine with good espresso as well as multiple non-dairy milk options. Bathroom products were really nice. The one downside was there was no kettle or coffee maker in the room.
