Courtyard by Marriott across Universal Orlando

This Courtyard by Marriott has clearly just undergone a full remodel, and it shows everywhere. From the moment I checked in, the experience was top-tier. I was thanked for my Titanium Elite status and pleasantly surprised with an upgrade to a spacious 2-bed suite, along with a 4pm late checkout, which was greatly appreciated. The room felt completely brand new: new carpet, modern furniture, fresh drawers, and extremely comfortable beds and pillows. The layout was roomy and well thought out, making it easy to relax or get work done. Everything was spotless and had that “new hotel” feel. Housekeeping was excellent. Overall, this hotel is a great place at a great location. We arrived early, but they were able to get us checked in right away. The room was beautiful! There is also a TGI Friday's right next door, so food was no problem. With a free shuttle to Universal, what more could you ask?||There is some construction going on right now, so the elevator and hallway were a bit rough, but this did not detract from our enjoyment at all!||I would definitely book this hotel again!

This hotel does not look like its pictures. It is “supposedly” renovated. The lobby is deceiving. The elevator took forever and emergency signage was lying on the ground. The bedding in the rooms seemed fine but the floors were disguising. The shower would drip from the top and the bottom and spray water everywhere and the refrigerator did not work. The only thing good about this hotel is its location to universal and the Starbucks downstairs.

Pay to park with a sketchy third party. Randomly tries to charge a bill with your name on it and someone else’s card weeks after your stay. No no no do not stay here they also don’t room service the entirety of your stay and the room are stinky. And you have to park for parking as well as when you leave and enter the parking lot throughout your stay. The only thing good about this place is TGIF.

Absolutely outstanding hotel. The renovation was very well done - class act. Bistro in the Lobby has great grab-n-go food along with Starbucks coffee! Love it!!!
