Courtyard by Marriott Abilene Southwest/Abilene Mall South

They have roaches go somewhere else. We had to get plastic bags to put everything in so we don’t bring roaches home. If you have the option do not stay at this hotel.

I rarely leave negative reviews, but my experience at the Courtyard by Marriott Abilene Southwest/Abilene Mall South was unacceptable from start to finish. The property is extremely outdated, grimy, and poorly maintained. The overall condition of the hotel felt neglected, with worn furnishings and a general lack of cleanliness that was immediately noticeable upon entering the room. Unfortunately, the most disturbing issue was finding roaches in my room. Not just one — multiple. When I went to the front desk to report it, the staff member acknowledged that they had recently been dealing with a roach problem but believed it had been “taken care of.” Clearly, it had not. I was moved to another room at approximately 2:00 AM, which was already an inconvenience. However, upon settling into the

Nice hotel will expensive but at 11:30 at night when you’ve been driving for nine hours and you’re tired. You’ll pretty much take anything as long as it’s got a comfortable bed and it did have a comfortable bed. I couldn’t tell you how the pillows are cause I always travel with my own purple pillow.

Positive: Convenient location and overall friendly staff however the attendant on shift at arrival was not pleasant at all. The beds were comfortable and water pressure was good. Negative: This hotel is not up to Marriott standards at all. Mismatched floor panels in the elevator. Exposed electrical wires in the elevator and the buttons would glitch when you pressed them. There was a smell in our room and the beds were sloppily made.

This hotel is a waste of money. The hotel is run down and the mattresses are worn out. If you need to get a good nights rest I wouldn’t stay here. The rooms need a major update.
