Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Rapid City, SD

Positive: Gaming and food right on site. An excellent breakfast! Negative: The ice cold tile floors in the hall and bathroom. Frigid cold after getting out of bed. Noise in the morning from utility trucks.

Everyone was so nice and courteous. The front desk went out of their way to make my husband some cookies and bring them up to our room. The rooms were clean and modern. The whole place was clean and the pool area looked awesome with the slide for the kids. Best hotel ever!

Booking became a negotiation as the original quoted price was far higher than normal even though no special events were going on to justify the price. I was able to settle on a price that was more in line I am used to with this hotel chain. Check-in went smoothly and quickly. Front desk staff were very helpful. Room was clean and ready. Didn't like being right next to the elevator but had a 4th floor room so it wasn't loud. Amenities were decent. Breakfast was OK but only had it once during my 3 night stay. Check-out was easy and I really liked the front desk staff going out of their way to try to locate an item I had left behind. Will stay here again next time I'm in the Rapid City area.

Had an amazing experience. Room was warm and inviting. The TV and lights were on upon entering the room. The front desk staff was absolutely wonderful. The pool,hot tub and exercise areas were clean. The kids slide is a great feature. I highly recommend staying here.

The desk staff were very friendly, and my room was nice and quiet. It is well located near shopping area, restaurants, and the interstate. The breakfast area needs to be much larger as it was very crowded with lack of seating. Also, while the food was okay, a few more options and more serving area would be much appreciated!
