Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Port Clinton, OH

Well as not everything at this hotel reflected this score, what it did reflect was very problematic for a restful paid experience. First, the curtains at this facility did an awful job at blocking out light, you wake up all night long starting at 1am thinking its like 8am as it is so bright with the light from parking lot coming into the rooms, making for restless nights. Second, and quite a big problem with this location is the marijuana smoking inside the hotel rooms. It was so bad that if we did not put towels along the base of our hotel door our room would smell heavily of marijuana smoke/smell. This is a problem I tried to address through the messaging system from the hotel, and although the messages said someone would talk with me to resolve the problem shortly, it was never addresse

Well let's see in our room the fridge was broke ( and never fixed or even looked at) the sink was clogged and leaking judging from the stain on the cabinet under the sink it has been leaking for awhile! I guess they knew about it because of the soaked towel that was placed under the trap! When we arrived the room temperature was 68 because none of us like to sleep in a hot room we turned it down to 58 and it went up to 71! When we told the girl at the front desk about how hot the room was she said just turn down the thermostat! I have stayed at different country inn and suites in three different states an they were amoung the best places I have stay in! Always clean comfortable and the staff was awesome that why we stayed at this one but ya not so much! I would not recommend this hotel if

No heat if there is it will go off randomly in the middle of the night, no wifi they have been knowing this for years, fridge doesn't work it makes your food warm, water if you want it hot you have to wait 10 mins. The washing machine was so gross, it probably makes clothes dirtier than cleaner it smells so badly of mildew. At breakfast they start packing everything up 30 mins early and they will walk in and out of the kitchen waiting for you to leave so they can close it early.

By far the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. This hotel is a bad mark on the Choice Hotels reputation. Stayed here for a weekend in late September, paid fully with Choice rewards points. Hotel was fine, nothing exceptional, nothing horrible. Fast forward to when we get back from the trip, I check my credit card and see $45 is charged to my account. I call the hotel and ask for a manager, never get a call back from them. I call the hotel twice more, never get a reply. So I open a fraud claim with my bank. This hotel falsified documentation to send to my bank (my bank sent me screenshots) saying that I was trying to commit theft of an inn keeper. I should not have been charged a penny for this stay, as it was already paid in full. The invoice the hotel sent me also showed I should have b

Positive: Breakfast was great and location was great! Negative: This hotel needs new housekeeping. The room was dirty with stains all over the bathroom walls and ceiling. There were crumbs on the carpet, looked like things weren’t even wiped down.
