Camp Perry Campground

Camp ground was nice and very well kept. Bathrooms were nice. A park for the kids to play at would have made it a 5 star. We did have issues with running out air conditioner and our microwave at the same time. It would trip their breaker not ours in our camper. When I called to see what we could do the lady knew nothing about camping. Her only alternative was to entirely move out campsite. We decided to stay and try to make it work by turning off our AC when running out microwave. Which was miserable because it was over 90 degrees out but we made it work. I think this camp ground works for kids but a lot more ideal for adults.

Very clean, very quite and very good WIFI. Good fishing off the pier. Caught several cats. Overall great campground. I'll be back. The ladies in the office were very pleasant and helpful.

Wonderfully history behind the camp. Wonderful current activities with the shooting programs. You can't beat the location and price for full hookups, on a long paved level site, and shade trees. No noise from traffic or trains. We didn't use the bathhouse, but it looked nice.

DONT USE GPS COORDINATES! If you see No Outlet do not turn down that road esp if you have an RV. It looks like you can turn left into camp Perry campground down the no outlet road but those gates are not open. Keep going & Look for those 2 small entrance towers on the main road. That’s where you want to turn. Once you turn drive straight all the way down and the campground will be on your right.

Camp has been upgraded. WW1 huts are gone.
