Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Myrtle Beach, SC

Unfortunately even though a crib is listed as available and an important aspect of choosing this hotel I was informed with a severe attitude that they didnt have one AND weren't responsible for what they posted on a 3rd party website. I was then told that if for some reason we couldnt stay that they did not offer refunds and I owed the resort fee that the third party didnt cover. We stayed here once before years ago but the hotel has gone way downhill since then. There are tacky signs everywhere "breakfast is for dine in only if you take a plate to go we will charge you $10", "no jumping on the elevator", "dry off before you leave the pool" (that would be a trick), "turn the dial back to 12 or the hottub will burn up". For the purposes of sleeping comfortably, this hotel was great. Check in was quick and easy. If you prefer to not hear other guests in their rooms, this might not be the hotel for you. Walls are very thin (can hear TVs and showers running in neighboring rooms). We did have some issues in our room (hair and fingernails from previous guests in the shower and on the floors, hairs stuck to the bath towels, an unidentified, textured brown stain on one of our beds that we had to ask to be cleaned up). Service for these issues was great and handled well by staff. I appreciated that it was handled swiftly. I enjoyed the option to wash laundry in the hotel and that coins (and detergent which I did not need, as I had some already) were at the front desk; I did need to wash a blanket from my car due

This hotel really made my last minute trip to Myrtle Beach with my best friend so wonderful. I was there November 6-10 and there was a particular front desk clerk who made the entire vacation wonderful. Her name is Kaila and she is so fantastic. Every time we saw her she always wished us a wonderful day, she was so incredibly positive, it was infectious. I hope that if I ever go back to Myrtle Beach that she is still there. The hotel itself was also pretty great as well. The hotel rooms have decent sized mini fridges, decent beds, etc. the only complaint I have was the shower curtain in ours didn’t want to stay closed so we got the floor wet a few times, but this would have been easily handled if we had said something. The ladies at the front desk were friendly, honest, and helpful. They gave great directions to local attractions and tips to get around. The rooms were very clean, as well as common areas. The pool and hot tub were aged, but serviceable. The location is close to everything and I would stay here again.
