Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Duluth North near Airport

Rooms were clean. Bathroom was good size. Breakfast was good. Pretty typical continental breakfast. The heat in the room seemed like it was running warmer than what the temperature was set at. Ended up turning the heat off for a while during the night in December then set to 62 which felt more like 68. The two pools were cold. The kids pool is nice for toddlers and preschoolers but water was too cold to spend more than 5 to 10 minutes in. Hot tub was a comfortable temperature and not too hot.

By far the worst hotel experience ever! We only booked this stay for the pool with water slide. Came to find out the water slide is ALWAYS SHUT DOWN HALF THE DAY EVERYDAY. The Hot Tub was also Closed off with ropes and not accessible. The pool was dirty and literallt full of dirt on the bottom. Pool water was FREEZING cold and the kiddie pool was even colder! Kids caught colds from trying to swim and it ruined the whole day! We had 5 other adults test the water to make sure it wasn’t just us and no one could stand it nor did people stay in the pool area because of it. When we asked about the temperature, they said due to the chemicals in the pool, they could not make the temp any warmer - which I really find hard to believe! Honest opinion....... I stayed with two small children 2 and 5 on new years eve to use the kiddie pool. It was freezing like could barely use. Thank goodness for the hot tub. The pool was also pretty cold. The floor in the pool room was pretty gross. The towels were not refilled.|The room was not that clean..... the floors dirty and the bathroom had stains on the wall and on the toilet. I grinned and took it as it was because I know the world is short staffed these days. I wanted the girls to have fun and they did. Needless to say I would drive down to the cities next time if I were to spend the money on a better pool facility. It is the 2.5 star rating it is given.

Hotel was very clean and nice. Staff was friendly to pets and the breakfast was very good. It has a fitness center with treadmills. We were disappointed that the pool and hot tub were having work done and we weren't notified ahead of time. We booked the hotel specifically for the pool and hot tub and we probably would have booked somewhere else if we knew it wasn't usable. I think we should have received a discount because there were many cheaper hotels nearby without a pool and hot tub.

The rooms for the multibed studio was nice. The hallways were quiet. The breakfast was good. The pool was smaller than I would of expected. The water slide is up after 4pm. The kiddy pool was okay. The hot tub was amazing but way to over flow. Unfortunately there was a few rowdy guests so staff had to kick families out of the pool area and there was constant damage being done. The staff did a good job trying to monitor it but unfortunately my kids had to suffer and couldn't enjoy the pool too much on our week stay.
