Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Clarksville, TN

The hotel was quiet, extremely clean and staff was attentive. Seemed to have been recently renovated. My room was also very clean. I encounter no problems or issues during my stay. Breakfast was OK but nothing to brag about. They can take the chicken patties off the menu. LOL There were a couple minor things I noticed that the "renovations" missed. My black out curtain had little slits in them and the back of the door probably should have been sanded. It was peeling.

The website portrays an updated nice hotel. In reality, it's old, dirty, and unsafe. The floors have stains, carpet is coming up, door paint is off, light fixtures don't work, the security camera downstairs isn't plugged in right, in our hotel room the lock was wonky and the bathroom door didn't shut all the way, and much more. I imagine they took an old building and updated it the cheap way. It's got a musty smell everywhere and the elevator is old and runs weird. However, the staff is friendly and breakfast decent.

After an initial booking through TripAdvisor failed, I pulled into this hotel wondering what kind of rate they would charge me at the desk (not taking any chances with another failed online booking). The rate was the same but they offered me a $15 veteran discount which was very kind. |The hotel common areas were clean and spacious, the room was tidy and aroma-free, the breakfasts had just enough protein options, and checkout was painless. I would definitely stay here again.

My room was not clean. Hotel looking a bit run down. My room bedding had not been changed. Dry,dirty washcloth in bathroom. The positive things were it was quiet. I could not hear other patrons. They had good breakfast. I felt safe. I only stayed one night. I would go back with cleaning supplies. I slept on top of the bed but if I had been staying longer I would have asked for clean sheets

When booking reviews for hotel were confusing either all good or all bad.|Simple truth this hotel is older building but has been remodeled says 2014 on internet but I know construction industry well and this looks more recent lobby and entrance front desk are nice modern design large open area smelled fresh and clean. Employe at desk was polite and helpful. Walking to room hotel obviously remodeled looks nice not luxurious. Rooms are clean smelled good furniture is modern and in good condition air conditioner older but worked well and not loud. Carpet looks good newish. Mattress be my only letdown some noticeable wear but was comfortable but not luxurious. Overall very good for price much better in appearance than I expected. Dont understand reviews saying its terrible, maybe room didn't
