We just purchased an RV, and this was our first trip in it to attend the balloon festival. We had a great experience here, we sat outside enjoying our coffee and breakfast while watching the balloons float by. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The shower/restroom combos were very clean, only drawback is that it's very close to the highway. We will stay here again.
Good things: Park gate is closed 9:00pm - 6am, paved roads, park is clean and well maintained, the many full timers all have clean sites with no trash around, park residents that we came in contact with were very friendly and nice. We were across from the playground but still noise was not unreasonable. Speed limits are kept (10mph) for the most part, dust is not an issue with the paved roads. |Iffy things: Mail is confusing. The park does not want you to put site number on mail as permanent residents do that. If you put nothing other than the address the USPS will not deliver the mail as insufficient address. You have to put something so we started putting Park Office just before we left. The mail and mail boxes are handled by the USPS office, and their service we found was, “iffy”. Long
If you want an expensive and frustrating campground stay at this one. First NO potable water at the Full Hook Up Site. And no WiFi at the sites, only in the clubhouse. At $175.00 a night they should have been very accommodating. Every time we talked to the management here, we were more stressed than prior to talking to them. We stayed during the balloon fiesta. They called us the day before our scheduled check-in. They wanted to know what time we would be there and we told them 11:00 a.m. They said that should work fine because they reopen the roads from the fiesta at 11:00 a.m. So we figured we would arrive around 11:15 to give us a little extra time. We got into town and we had to drive 1 hour to figure out how to get into the campground. When we finally got there the check-in proc
We had a lovely time at this RV park. The campground is clean, quiet, the staff are friendly and professional. The sites and roads are wide. We would stay here again.
This is a manufactured home resort with spaces for RV's. Amenities are great! I love the fact that there's a large grassy dog section. The staff and the security guards are wonderful!
