Comfort Suites Sulphur-Lake Charles

The door lock broke when we tried locking it. It just pulled right off the door right out of the screw holes. The hotel smelled bad when we entered. The front doors of the hotel wouldn't close. The room was dirty and the tub was full of dirt. There was a roach in our room. Crawled right out from underneath the microwave. All in all i'll never recommend this hotel to anyone or encourage anyone to stay there. If I could id rate it 0 stars.

The agent who greetede us was friendly and customer oriented. We were booked into a disabled room. The room was the furthest from the front desk, required a long walk (unlike most hotels that have the disabled room close). The furniture in the room was quite old, scratched, worn etc. The lamp between the beds had two electrical plugs that did not work to hook up my cpap machine, The front desk agent came and moved the bed so I could plug in the cpap machine. The bathroom counter around the sink was very small and the toilet leaked under the laminatede floor and the water would come up between the cracks around the toilet. Evidently this was happening for quite awhile since the floor had stains in the area of the leaks. The facilty is hard to locate from the street to the small alle

Room did not have all of the amenities we are used to from this chain but the room was clean, bed was comfortable. Breakfast was more than we are used to from this chain. Good job on that!! Staff were friendly and helpful. Would stay here again.

Great experience! Front desk is always extremely pleasant. Rooms are clean. 3rd floor is under renovations. My room was out dated, but my mattress was comfortable and my room was quiet, clean and sanitized. I stay at this property every 2 to 3 months for business.

Dirty rooms, and we're not cleaned well, they did not change the sheets on the bed, and the sheets were ripped and stained, the towels were old and stained some smelled bad, a lot of the staff were short with me as if I was bothering them, definitely not what I am use to from this hotel, also had ants and roaches in the last room I stayed in on the 2nd floor. I normally pick the comfort inn because I know I can trust not to have any issues but I was not happy with this one. And I was charged 3 different price for some reason.
