Comfort Suites Pecos

So first let me just say. My trip here isn’t out of the blue and for no reason. I practically live out of hotels as a travel for work on a daily basis. The location of this hotel is nice with it being so close to the highway, service was ok as the employees were polite and helpful but if your looking for a place to stop with nice CLEAN rooms and a homey feeling then just keep going. I’ve never been more disgusted in a Choice Hotel before. I know it’s “an oil field” town but that doesn’t give a reason for the room itself to be gross. Messy is one thing but this was just flat out gross. Boogers literally everywhere. The wall by the restroom, the wall by the couch, the wall by the bed, THE BED itself, the couch!!!!! Luckily the room I had was a two queen bed cuz if that had been the only bed

The rooms were nasty. We had trash under the bed, dirty socks by the TV stand, tub had ring in it. Went to the front desk, the lady said the room must have not been cleaned and our room was changed. 2nd room was just as bad, had food, boogers, sock under the edge of the lounge part of sofa, fake nails on back of sofa, ceiling tile in bathroom was wet, and cracked about in half ant to fall in tub, black mold in the corners of the tub.The ONLY reason we stayed at this comfort end was because every nice place to stay was booked. Infact almost all places were book. Web page picture are very deceiving. We talked to the manager and he said sorry may I have the pictures you took for reference to me of the issues. He would talk to house keeping. As a manager it's his job to make sure his workers

This place is great, exceptional service and very clean. The room was comfortable and nice. I will definitely stay here again.

Property was very clean and lobby was inviting. The desk clerk was friendly and the room was comfortable. Continental breakfast was great!

I asked for a late checkout of noon because I was working nights. At 930 I was getting my door knocked on by house keeping. Then again at 1030 and 11. So I just got up and left. I was gone by 1110am. No communication to housekeeping on check out times. I did have the DND sign on door handle. No fresh water at entrance for guest.
