Comfort Suites Myrtle Beach Central

Hotel was on the frontage road and traffic noise was pretty noticeable. Hotel is dated. Room was dated, not very clean. Noisy to hallway traffic. Lobby coffee was cold and old. Desk clerk was friendly. The Bed and Pillows were terrible. The Hot Breakfast was a Joke. I'd be Ashamed to serve it. We Would definitely not stay here again.

I read some not so great reviews when I was going to book the room but I booked a stay anyway! Well I'm glad I did! It was a wonderful stay. The room was clean and spacious. The staff was friendly and the breakfast choices were excellent! The overall feel of the hotel was clean and tidy! I often take the stairs for exercise and even the stairwell was clean! Grest stay and a good value..close to all the attractions and the airport!

Booked a room for two nights, went to check in for the first night, it was around midnight so 3rd shift staff was working. He told me that he couldn't check me in because I didn't have the physical card that I made the reservations with...I used a digital card on my Google wallet therefore don't have that card as a physical form but I do have other credit cards he could of used. He said it had to be that card because it wasn't charged yet and he needed to swipe it to be charged. My card was deff charged and he didn't know what he was talking about so he turned me away and I was charged to stay here and didn't even get to stay here! Called management the next day, she said she was going to issue me a refund, no problem. Two days pass, still no refund. I call back and now she claims she isn'

Smelled of weed throughout the property. Elevator stuck while we were on it, dirty and grimy common areas, not able to provide handicap room without proof of handicap (I.e. parking placard or “certificate”- not sure why). The room itself was clean enough to keep shoes on except when in bed and shower. Beds were clean and comfortable- with plenty of pillows and clean linens. Shower head was great and had plenty of shower products.

Filthy bathroom floor and walls, a metal table in the shower for a stool. Bed was so hard lumpy and squeeky on a metal frame, and pillows hard and lumpy also. Road noise and lights under the curtain. Gap around the door to hall. Noisy neighbors slamming and coughing and talking on phone in hall. We hardly slept at all. Room Coffee terrible, lobby coffee cold. No hot breakfast except spicy sausage patties. Few condiments. Only stayed b/c convenient to airport. Never again! A refund would be appreciated.
