Comfort Suites La Vista - Omaha

We have stayed at this hotel twice now and both times it was a very good experience. The rooms were clean the bed's very comfortable. The staff was very accommodating and very pleasant to deal with. The breakfast is always perfect. The most recent time was scrambled eggs and sausage, waffles, bagels toast, cereals, fruits yogurts. They have a little bit of everything and the coffee is always hot already along with hot teas, hot chocolate and a friendly smile by all the staff. I would highly recommend staying here.

Booked the room while traveling home from Colorado. Upon arrival, the front desk gentleman was friendly and extremely helpful in explaining the various dinner options available to us. Our room was spacious, clean and quiet. Breakfast was simple but filling and tasty. Overall, we were thrilled to have found a hotel in the Omaha area that we will continue to use during our many travels between Wisconsin and Colorado. Great job to all involved!

Check in was easy and the front desk person was pleasant. We stayed in room 216 which was just, ew. Visible stains on the couch and the drywall work around the shower was completely cracked in multiple places. The shower needed a good cleaning. We chose this hotel for the workspace in the room as I had to work the next day. I was testing connections and discovered no Internet tethering a hot spot from my phone was not an option. I went down to the front desk and asked only to be told there was no internet and it wouldn’t be back on until Saturday (when we checked out.). I asked why this wasn’t mentioned upon check in as we would not have checked in and found somewhere else. She grabbed a sign that was on the side of the desk and put it facing forward. Terrible experience — absolutely do not recommend. We stayed here while in town for a wrestling tournament, and the way our group was treated was unbelievable. After being gone for nearly 14 hours at a tournament, we returned to the hotel and were simply sitting and hanging out in the lobby with our team, talking and relaxing. There was nothing out of control or disruptive. We were all here for a major wrestling tournament and there were multiple teams staying in this hotel at the same time. But, ours was the only one singled out. Instead of handling the situation professionally, the front desk employees completely blew it out of proportion and immediately called the police, escalating a situation that never needed to be escalated in the first place. The hotel itself was clean and nice. The breakfast was very good with an excellent selection. My low rating is because of the swimming pool. The water was cloudy and the bottom of the pool was slimy, along the edges. When we book a hotel with our grandkids, the pool is the #1 attraction and if they hadn't been so excited to swim, I would not have gotten in it. The front desk clerk on Saturday night was 100% awesome and she deserves KUDOS!!
