Comfort Suites Kings Bay Naval Base Area

This Comfort Suites Kings Bay is conveniently right off the highway. The hotel in nestle behind and bunch off other hotels that are cheaper. I picked this hotel because it is in a quiet location. Its also extremely clean. The hotels staff at the front desk is very polite and knowledgeable of the area. For dinner The best barbecue smoked ribs in the country is at Sonnys is right down the road. Also if you book this hotel online more than 5 or more hours before you show up you can save good amount of money. Then you can sleep in a quality room, that's very clean and quiet. We reserved a room 5 days in advance for two adults and a “service” cat. We had traveled almost a thousand miles and enjoyed several Choice Hotels, with excellent management.||While on the road to this hotel we received a message, only a few hours before our arrival, CANCELLING an our reservation! ||We called the hotel to find out why we were cancelled. We were told that Georgia law does not consider cats as service animals. We said OK, what does it cost for a cat? Amber, the agent, said $35.00. We said OK, can we have the room and pay for the cat. Amber said she had cancelled our reservation and COULDN’T make a new one. We bantered back and forth but there was no way she would allow this senior citizen couple traveling with a cat stay at this motel. Oh, by the way we are Gold Members at C

I’m sorry I can’t leave them a positive review because of 2 reasons ONE I had NO TV ALL night! I guess if I had a Netflix channel I could have used my account but I don’t …all night No TV they told me it had only been a few hours and they were working on it but it never came on! Who wants to drive all day and not have TV in their hotel! Had they told me that when I checked in I wouldn’t have stayed here. Also they put me in a room with a freaking bright spot light outside the room AND no like curtain to block it…it kept me up all night. It’s 5 am and I’m up annoyed not rested and just pissed off. The pictures are the room with the lights off…I’m sorry but who doesn’t either more the light outside OR put up a curtain!

When they say "pet-friendly" they mean it. Treats for our cat. Very easy check-in and lots of friendly service. The room was a great size and very clean. The one minor downside is that the base of the bed is not solid and not pushed all the way against the wall under the headboard so we had to completely disassemble the bed to get our cat out before departure. We will definitely stay here again. Thanks.

We stopped here on our way to our cruise.We got a cute gift bag full of items needed for our cruise . Wow that was so unexpected. The staff was so attentive and accommodating. They had duck out front which they gave us a small thing of duck food to feed them. The room was so clean and the bed was comfortable. The breakfast had good choices and the hostess was so sweet and kind. Our check out experience was also amazing Elise offered us bottled water for the road.
