Comfort Inn Wichita Falls North

Travelling across the country with my mother and my Dog, it's not always easy to find decent/affordable hotels that allow dogs. This hotel has clean rooms, is Dog friendly, has helpful and competent staff. Comfortable beds and pillows. Nice breakfast featuring eggs, sausages, biscuits & gravy. Super reasonable rates. $20 pet fee. Was a very pleasant stay for one night on our long road trip. Also has a 24 hour Whataburger right next door within walking distance.

My husband, dog, and I have stayed here 4 times in the last 2 years. In the past, it’s always been a good place to stay for an overnight stop. Unfortunately, this last stay was not good. First, and most important, we found a ROACH in the bathroom. I can tolerate a lot of things…but this is not one of them! For this reason alone, we will not be staying here again. Second, the WiFi and cable were down most of the time we were there. On its own, it’s not a big deal…. But when you’re staying in a no-frills, outdated hotel, and this is one of the few benefits you get, you expect it to work or get some compensation. Lastly, the room had stained walls (maybe from patching holes or leaks or ?), dirty curtains, a phone that didn’t work, and a musty smell. This hotel needs a deep clean, major pest

Hotel was very nice, pet fee for our small dog was reasonable. Gage(front desk) was so helpful and friendly. I called before making reservation to ask about parking u-haul in lot and when we arrived, Gage walked out with my husband to ensure where he parked was not issue for other guest. He has phenomenal customer service skills.

Positive: The outdoor pool area was nice and the hotel is pet friendly. Negative: The carpet in our room was filthy and there was rust in the bathtub. The bathroom did not have vent fan, so the tile floor was extremely slick after using the shower. Gluten free options for breakfast would have been a bonus.

We travel quite a bit and most motels are ok. Some are memorable for their deficiencies. Comfort Inn Wichita stands out from the rest. While the room was fine, the staff was incredible. I don't have the name of the lady that checked us in, but she was extremely helpful, one of the best we have met. The man that checked us out was also very good. Both were a pleasure to work with.
