Comfort Inn Tucson Central in Tucson is a solid choice for overnight accommodation. Located right off Interstate 10 it has several nearby conveniences including a 24-hour IHOP that is just a short walk away from your room, which is really nice for late night arrivals. There are also a couple of gas station choices with their accompanying ma & pa-type stores. This hotel is less expensive than most other comparable hotels in the area. My room was clean, comfortable, modern, and functional. The service desk attendant was very friendly and helpful. There is a hot breakfast that comes with the room which was quite nice. Very much recommended.

Stayed here for almost 2 nights . The rooms were mainly clean . The location is great! We went to the zoo and it was like a 10 min drive . There was a lot of homeless people out around the hotel when we would leave , that was sketchy. The hotel is by some good restaurants in quick driving distances . The room key didn’t work for the side doors, so we told front desk but they acted like they didn’t want to fix it .

Assigned room was directly over the hotel entrance doors. Every time the doors open and close, it’s very noisy in the room. Entry door to the room was also repeatedly a problem to open. Had to pull on the door handle the quite hard to get it to actually open. Front desk personnel indicated that room door is a problem on and off. Parking is limited. Very difficult to find an empty parking spot. Room was also not well maintained. Room 214 for reference.

Hotel has central location. Just like many cities, you don’t want to be walking around after dark in a central location. Don’t leave anything in your car. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Staff is pleasant and tries to be helpful.

At midnight our a/c quit functioning. When we tried to call the front desk, the phone did not work so we had to dress and go down to the front desk. They moved us to another room with no apologies. When we checked out, we asked about a discount because of the inconvenience of having to change rooms in the middle of the night. Not only did they refuse but they stamped the receipt with a ready made stamp threatening to withhold our Choice points if the price were to be reduced. This is NOT good customer service.
