Comfort Inn & Suites Zachary

For some reason, it looks like my last review was deleted. I'll leave it again. My comfortable stay was suddenly not comfortable the day the Manager tried getting into my room (mind you it was double locked) while I was in the shower. The whole time Im trying to get out and get a towel around me, he's trying to get in. The reason for his entry was a screw up on their part. Needless to say, he got a good blessing out and I also reported to corporate and the BBB.

I chose this hotel because of the location, the price was very affordable, and the website photos made it seem like a great stay. Not to mention the reviews all seemed okay. ||The rooms are clean, but my room was missing a desk chair, which doesn't help when you use the room for working - something on the website they boasted about. Strong perfume smell throughout the hotel and in the room, so be wary if you have any fragrance allergies like I do. The gym gives off such a creepy vibe because there is barely any light in the gym and it's missing most of the dumbbells. Again, photos from the listing showed something very different. We stayed two nights: (Thursday night -Jan. 1 & Friday night - Jan.2) The Friday morning we took showers and everything was normal. That afternoon the hot water was just a small stream. Saturday morning we got up to shower and depart HOWEVER we had NO hot water! We came down the front desk staff member said they were working on it and it should be only a short time before repaired. We had breakfast and went back to room to prepare to leave. Still NO hot water, so we packed our bags, brushed our teeth, and departed and still NO hot water. Did the manager or front desk staff say we will reduced your payment, or we will give you some points for the problem? No, just we are sorry! I've stayed here on a work assignment for three months. Never had any problems or concerns during my stay. This is the best hotel as for as comfort, location, and all a hotel in this area may offer. The staff is great, they accommodated me in many many was to make my stay wonderful. The rooms are nice clean and comfortable. Ill be visiting here ago in the future. -To begin with Our room didn't have a tub, so I asked the front desk for another room with a tub! I had to pay another $18 to get a room with a tub! The Front desk person had to go look at least 3 different rooms before finding a room that had a tub which took 10 to 15 minutes. I feel the attendant should have known this ahead of time! Also I never was acknowledged as being a Choice Club member! Another issue with our room was there was No Shampoo & Conditioner in the dispensers available & Noticed there was No Stopper for Us to take a bath so I had to use a wash cloth to stopped up the drain to bathe!
