Comfort Inn & Suites Page at Lake Powell

Seem elegant from the outside like any other Comfort Inn. |The beds were made nice and tight but the sheets had past guest nasty hair on both beds . |This hotel is very short staff and breakfast is a zoo. Unclean and short on food.|Last but not least the pool is not heated ,|How sad for my children to not be able to go in . The pool room isn’t even heated. The water is like ice. And look at the color of the hot tub…

At first glance we were happy enough with a standard kind of hotel. But looking closer a lot of things just weren’t that clean. There were stains on the carpets including a big sticky spot. We were there two nights and the room wasn’t cleaned and made up the day in between. Maybe that’s standard but we weren’t told so. The breakfast was ok but I really would have appreciated some fresh fruit of which there was none. The staff were friendly and helpful. Kudos to a desk clerk ( I think Heidi) who had to check in a group of about 40 all on her own and kept her cool vs a grumpy tour manager.

I stayed in a hotel room that was nice and clean. The location was perfect, only 15-20 minutes drive to Antelope Canyon and Horseshoe Bend. However, I was disappointed with the breakfast food quality. The sausage wasn't good, some yogurt was frozen, and the coffee was very watery with no strong flavor. I suggest improving the breakfast spread by adding healthy options like fruits, oats, etc.

Comfort Inn was not to our expectation. We expected a decent hotel considering they are practically in the middle of nowhere, and very few hotels in the area. When we walked in, we saw a soaking area on the floor. We called front desk, and the employee said she would get back to us, but she never did. On top of that, there were crumbs on the bed, dirt everywhere, and bathroom were clearly not maintained. However the breakfast was still filling despite the actual room.

Would’ve been a 5 Star, but the terrible hot tub brings it down to a 4. Every other hotel on our trip has had no problem keeping their hot tub clean, so no excuse for this one being so dirty. Everything else here including breakfast was great, and the check in and out with Micah and Rylina were the fastest and friendliest ever. If you want a nice hotel minus a hot tub, this is the place to be. You can see in the photo that the top step in the hot tub is a bright color like the pool, but the water is green.
