Comfort Inn & Suites Near University of Wyoming

The hotel is easy to access and well kept. We were greeted by a sweet young woman who was very welcoming and loved on our dog. The lobby is beautifully decorated for Christmas! Thw room was clean and spacious and even smelled good! Bed was comfortable after 14 hour on the road. The only reason for 4 stars and not 5 is the toilet was very difficult to flush and the bottom of the tub was stained from improper drainage. Showerhead was one of the better ones in a hotel!

Motel was nice and clean. Breakfast was good and had decent options. We chose the suite over looking the pool and that was fun. We stayed here to go skiing at snowy range and it was a great location for that. Only complaint and reason for 4 stars was our keys needed reset at least 10 times in our 3 night stay. Staff was friendly and helpful with this but they definitely need an update in that system. We were sure to not put the cards next to anything in our pockets so we know that wasn’t the problem we could come to the pool and scan it to get in there sit it on a table with nothing but a towel and by the time we would go back to the room it wouldn’t work to let us back in. After a long day of skiing standing outside the side door holding all our gear and our cards not working was frustrat

I booked this hotel expecting it to be close to the University of Wyoming, but “near” is… generous. Out of all the hotels in Laramie, this one might actually be the farthest from campus. The room itself was fine, but housekeeping never made it up during my stay, which was disappointing. It wasn’t a huge mess or anything, but you expect the basics to be taken care of, and this time they just weren’t. That said, the front desk staff were the standout of the whole experience. Super friendly, genuinely helpful, and clearly doing their best. They made check-in easy and were consistently kind and helpful when I had questions.

I got a slightly larger room so my spouse and I could both participate in Zoom meetings simultaneously. |It worked well enough. |The room itself was on the first floor and the floor had had some serious damage at some point and instead of flattening it, they put carpet over an "off-roading" surface. The Internet was annoying because we had to relog in after coming back from supper and then login again in the morning. Why?|The breakfast was fine although the breakfast area was tiny for the size of the hotel.|We were there a single night so it was fine, but I do not recommend it if the Internet access is important.

This hotel was perfect for our trip. Easy access off the highway with ample parking if you're traveling in a larger vehicle. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, beds were comfortable and there was plenty of hot water (actually hot water). There is a truck stop close by or for a short drive really tasty food. Breakfast was also available, but we were out the door very early. Would stay again.
