Comfort Inn & Suites near Kino Sports Complex

Room was decent. However the bed and shower was one of the best we have had at a comfort inn. The guy at the desk could have been a little more friendly. We were not to happy about all the construction in the area.

Good location. However with a 3:00 check in time, we weren't allowed to check in until nearly 5:30 because we had to wait for a room to be cleaned. This was already after standing at the front desk for nearly 15 minutes for sthe desk clerk to show up and help us. No compensation was offered to make up for the delay other than the hotel is pretty booked up.

The tv did not work. Turned on but was only snow. The front desk clerk said he didn't have a maintenance person on to fix it. The phone didn't work to call the front desk. The message light blinked all night. When my husband listened to the message it was from January 11 and someone screaming into the phone. Tried to delete the message and couldn't. At breakfast the bread ran out at 6:45 and no one was around to replenish the food. I phoned the manager this morning and she was gone until at least Friday but maybe longer.We thought we should get some kind of compensation and the front desk clerk had no authorization to do this. We have stayed at other Comfort Inns and have never had issues like this.

There is nothing special or noteworthy about the property, but everything was fine. The location is right off the freeway but noise was not an issue. Staff was friendly and professional. I had a room with one king bed- it was of decent size, clean and functional. Breakfast was what you would expect from a Choice hotel property. There is a small fitness center. My only minor complaint is that the AC unit was an old one and was slightly noisy.

Sheets seem clean, and the tub is clean. All good. The rest of the room and motel is not up to par. Dirty and smelly. I got charged more than I should have. This is my third night in a Comfort Inn as I drive across country and the only one that would not honor the online rate when I walked in and charged me an additional $20 saying there was nothing they could do about it. Very disappointed.
