Comfort Inn & Suites Hot Springs Midtown

Giving the Room a four out of five stars for two reasons. One, the toilet took awhile to fill up to be able flush. Two, the shower didn't drain fast enough and it was difficult to adjust the water temperature. However the room was clean, and towels and sheets were fresh. Breakfast was good, pool open and clean, elevator working, lobby beautiful and furnished.

While the building is showing its age, it is still kept very clean. The staff is phenomenal. Not just good, great, or excellent, but PHENOMENAL. I had to stay for a week to take care of my special needs brother after his surgery. The staff from the front desk to the kitchen, house keeping and maintenance were all so helpful, compassionate, and kind throughout our stay. I’m very grateful. Please recognize them and praise them all for a job well done. I mean ALL because I am pretty sure I interacted with everyone on staff that week!

We recently visited this hotel for a weekend trip to Oaklawn. The place is very conveniently located and the rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. the Hotel is a little bit dated and had a smell of smoke in the hallways. Breakfast was decent although it ended at 9:30 AM a little early for most who like to sleep late because of a late night. Overall, the place was just OK. It is an older hotel so don’t expect that new smell anywhere you go.

Hotel was just average. Room was clean. I expected more for $184 a night. The A/C seemed to struggle with the afternoon heat (west side), otherwise it was comfortable. Indoor pool was nice. Breakfast was average. You want to get in early, it gets packed by 8:30 AM. Standard fare includes pre-made veggie omelets, sausage, biscuits, donuts, cereal, bagels, ect. Staff was friendly, and hotel area was clean. Hotel shares a parking lot with Texas Road House which has awesome food, so for us, that was a bonus! All in all, I rate this "average." Maybe for this price point, this is what you get these days.

The motel was nice clean and quiet. The staff was super helpful. I was in town for an urgent passport Renewal interview in the morning but the actual passport wasnt ready to pick up till 2pm..They allowed me a three hour late checkout at no charge so I could tour the city then come back to the room, clean up and make it to the second part of my interview process. All the employees seemed to care about my experience there and wanted to make sure I could make the most of my time there...Great staff...Great motel and Great experience...
