Comfort Inn & Suites Hermiston South

I am extremely disappointed with my stay. The upstairs area smells strongly of what seems like a natural gas leak, which is alarming and unacceptable. On top of that, we paid nearly $300 for a single night, and the experience doesn’t come close to justifying the price. There was no staff present at the front desk, the hotel feels poorly managed, and overall it is lackluster at best. For this price point, I expect a hotel that is far more put together. If I wanted a bare-bones experience, I would have booked a Motel 6 and adjusted my expectations accordingly. This does not add up. The Wi-Fi situation only made things worse. I would have gave it a 10. I stayed for 2 months 4 days a week-- home for 3 days. I never moved out so I could keep the full kitchen because I needed the full-size fridge for my food prep. They didn't clean my room for 7 days--one time--- I almost ran out of towels. 2nd complaint would be the work out equipment needs updated. My AC broke in my bedroom. It took about a week to fix received a new quieter one. Great people who work there. It always smelled like maple syrup in the morning because of the clean and stocked breakfast area. I would defiantly stay here again.

Positive: The rooms are nice. Breakfast was decent. Negative: The carpet is very dirty. My kids feet were black after 15min. The pool was closed at first due to chlorine levels. We swam the last day we were there and our suits smelled like poop so that’s nice. It’s not a terrible hotel but extremely overpriced.

My husband stayed here for work. Last time he stayed he found earwigs in the bed. This time he has found blood on the sheet, so they came & changed the sheets. Then he notice blood on the blanket also & they told him it would be easier if he could bring the blanket down to them

Comfort Inn & Suites in Hermiston was a convenient option for our trip. Our room was clean, spacious and comfortable. I booked my stay through a service, and was surprised by the $35 pet fee for my dog (as well as a $50 credit card hold for damage) upon arrival. I think the DAILY fee would preclude any stay at this lovely property lasting more than one night. That said, we had a quiet, restful sleep in a very nice room.
