Comfort Inn & Suites Fort Lauderdale West Turnpike

Overall decent hotel. Manager is very attentive. Some minor details need to be addressed by housekeeping, like making sure a new room has tissues, a basket for the coffee filters and checking the safe (it was locked). Other than that, a good hotel.

Positive: Very good breakfast Negative: There were ants on the lamp table. The location was ok except it was very difficult to get out if you were turning left. I had to turn right and go to the next light and do a u-turn.

As far as comfort inn go, this one is slightly better than most. My room was clean but the whole hotel smells musty, there was hair in my shower and sink that wasn't mine, the lady at check in was super nice but the morning ladies were terrible. The breakfast is awful- it appears to be a bunch of frozen and heated up eggs Then you have artificial plastic tasting muffins and stale bagels. I try to avoid comfort inn as much as possible and this one was no less disappointing then they ever are.

The room was clean and comfortable to stay in. Me and my wife enjoyed it especially since it was her very first time a hotel. We don’t match cable so being limited to only cable did suck we could fully enjoy the first night ,I did have to go to a local Home depot to purchase a Roku stick to watch Netflix and YouTube. The pool was filthy;my wife was looking forward to going in the pool however the pool had leaves and bugs in it and her skin is extremely sensitive so that was a no for her the pool area was also covered in dirt so keeping your shoes on would be your best bet. The staff seems a bit rushy and dismissive like they didn’t want to be bothered except for the ladies at the front desk they were great. It's always a pleasure to stay at this hotel. The surroundings are always kept tidy and orderly and the bed is incredibly comfy. I've visited this place twice, and both times I received the same level of service. Particularly my interaction with the front desk employee, Annastassia. She was always willing to help us and was really polite. We felt at ease because of it. The worker at the breakfast counter constantly assisted the quest in preparing their meals, and the food was wonderful and high quality. Additionally, they maintain a clean environment.
