Comfort Inn Fergus Falls

Rooms are large look fairly nice. Definitely could use a better clean. Stayed for multiple days for work and had to go to the front office because my key didn’t work on several occasions.

The service is about what one would expect from a Choice Hotel. The staff is friendly enough, and the included breakfast was of a good quality I understand what it means to have renovations going on, and most cities have noise orindances in place to protect people's ability to treat within reason. In a construction, we started at 0600, because there was no feasible way that someone could hear us moving ladders around from the inside of their homes. We are not in a separate building here. I was woken from a dead sleep by someone moving their ladder around down the hall from me. It was shaking the lamp shades on all of the fixtures. Then, there was some plumbing issue that causes the water to smell of mildew and mold in my room. I thought the coffee maker just needed to be cleaned,

I had reserved a room online. When I went to Check in they were having trouble with their computers. Rather then explain the gentleman(who I was told is the Asst Manger told me just go across the street and get a room. Cancel your reservation here and go. I tried telling him my credit card had already been charged. He said call a 800 number which I tried but they said I could not cancel my reservation. Totally bad customer service by the hotel. Finally after about 45 minutes another lady was able to try and help me. While this was all going on another lady came in and he told her just go across the ateeet and get a room so she left. This happen d with two different people. Terrible customer service by this guy

We booked this hotel for one night on either end of our road trip to Wisconsin. When we arrived, the reception desk was unmanned. After 5 minutes, I used the phone on the desk to call for assistance. It rang and rang until someone finally answered saying he would be right there. It took another 5 minutes for the desk clerk to appear from the back. After checking us in, he said he would go to our room with us. He walked in ahead of us and sprayed something all around the room and into the air conditioner. When asked what it was, he said it was a "nice smelling spray, it's a good one." One member of our family has asthma so this was not appreciated. Was given the wrong room. Booked two queen beds pulled into town at 2:30 am after a long 8hour drive and was told we had one king size bed for 4 adults. The computer system was down and they were unable to tell us if he had another room available for rent. On their personal laptop we were finally at 3 am given another room for a charge. We were unable to pay due to the system being down. We agreed to pay for the 2nd room at the booking price of $114 per night. The following day we were told at checkout that the room was going to be $190+ fees because they were sold out and that was the going rate when the hotel is sold out. I told them what the night audit had told me on price he said “he doesn’t understand how that pricing work” sorry but that’s not my problem. They finally adjusted the
